Kwiaht: Food Security Lending Library

Kwiaht wants everyone in the islands to have access to affordable, healthy, and sustainable wild foods.

You can borrow tools from us!

Tools we have to lend:

Crab kits (trap, 80ft line, float, crab measurer)

Shrimp kits (trap, 200ft line, float)--these are for non-spot shrimp

Clam shovels and buckets

Canning kits (pot, jar lifter, funnel, recipe book)

Electric smoker

Dehydrators

Pole pickers for fruit

Rabbit traps

Fishing kits (fresh or salt water; pole, tacklebox, net)

PFDs (lifejackets)

Supplies we have that you can keep:

Canning jars (you're welcome to return them or donate jars)

Canning lids and rings

Crab and shimp floats

Rot cords for crab and shrimp traps

Crab and shrimp bait (upon request)

Copies of the fishing and hunting regulations
